Madelyn began shooting a bow when she was ten years old. Shortly after receiving her bow for Christmas, she shot her first 3D archery tournament and was hooked. She was recruited by a local coach for the JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) team and began practicing and competing in target archery with USA Archery. While 3D archery is her passion, she currently competes in local, state, and national tournaments for both ASA (Archery Shooter’s Association) and USA Archery. She also enjoys bowhunting, fishing, bowfishing, and getting outdoors.
